After losing his home and owner to a tragic fire, Cyrus is forced into living life as a stray. Alone and hungry, he embarks on a heart-rending and harrowing journey into unknown territory, taking with him a mysterious gift bestowed upon him by a bird. A gift to which he feels an uncanny connection. His uncharted journey takes him from his destroyed home in Buckinghamshire to as far afield as Ireland, where he miraculously escapes death and eventually finds himself back on UK soil; whereupon he is greeted with more unexpected encounters. Along his courageous journey of survival against all odds, Cyrus encounters other unfortunate stray cats, destined to become his self appointed, loyal companions.
